Namaste!
I'm glad you've found us! Just in case you were wondering, I am a part of a group of students (a mixture of undergrads, MBA students, MAcc students, and a few others) traveling to India in order to explore the economic, business, political, and cultural environment, as well as the economic relationship between the U.S. and India. In addition to an incredible vacation and invaluable life experience, we're also getting 6 hours of credit towards our degrees!
The program involved 5 classes before departure to prepare us for what we will encounter once we arrive. Once there, we will visit multiple cities, cultural sites, and businesses. The program also includes an opportunity to interact with and visit regular Indian families, to engage in service-learning projects with NGOs, and to explore the ancient cultural and historic legacy of India. One of the highlights of the trip will be the visits to some of the best wild-life, tiger, and elephant sanctuaries in the world.
